1) Southwest Talpa II – Project - Download PDF, Word Doc

The initial exploratory well was drilled in February at the Talpa lease. The target depth was 3,700 feet, which gave us a look at most of the potential producing geologic zones in the region. A complete log is available upon request.

Our initial logs supported the idea that the TALPA lease had strong Serratt potential similar to other neighboring leases in the region. The logs showed 2 foot of Serratt sand, with hydrocarbons, and dry in nature. The prevailing conclusion reached by our geologist and petroleum engineer is that our initial well was in the pinch-out area of the Serratt.
